Lifelong Sweeny residents Joe and Ruby Lingo were kind enough to allow us to scan a few pictures from their personal collection and add to our website. Anyone that has been in Sweeny any length of time knows Joe and Ruby and their involvement in our community through the years. If you had a question about Sweeny’s early days Joe very likely had the answer.

 

 

Joe Lingo passed away July 30, 2016 at the age of 91. He was a true Sweeny legend and will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace Joe.
